Why Grind a Stump
A stump left in the yard after a tree comes down doesn't just sit there quietly. It attracts termites and other pests, gets in the way of mowing, and can be a tripping hazard for anyone walking across the yard, especially kids or guests who don't know it's there.
It also takes up space you might want back, whether that's for a garden bed, a new patch of lawn, or just a clear spot to walk. Grinding it down is usually faster and less disruptive than digging the whole root system out of the ground.

How We Do It
We grind the stump down below grade, not just flush with the surface, so it doesn't work its way back up or interfere with what you plant over it later. Once we're done, we clear the wood chips so the area is ready for whatever comes next.
